Separation of brazed components

The diffuser was a research and development project form a leading aircraft engine repair company based in Europe.

Damage to the diffusers blades occures during normal operations of the unit. this resulted in our customer throwing away the diffuser costing over £22,000 each. We developed a chemical process that enables the diffuser to be separated without attacking the parent material. This in turn allows the unit to be repaired quickly and with a saving of over £15,000 each.
