Release Mechanism Electrical

The RME unit is used by Royal Ordnance. The objective of the unit is to delay the auto tube loader weight on the L30 Gun from returning immediately after it has been thrown back under recoil. The RME unit can also be operated manually. Field International have been involved in the repair, modifications and testing of these units

The photos below are some of the thirty welding and fabrication jigs that were made for the BAE systems Terrier project. The Terrier project is a replacement  for the ageing Armys buldozer Some of the fixtures were over 30 feet long.
